The “Pillars of India” and “Arani ExNoRa” celebrated 66th Independence Day at M.K.V Govt. Higher Secondary School, Arani. The day started with the “Flag Salute”. The volunteers of “Pillars of India” and “Arani ExNoRa” were proudly participated in the Independence Day function. The word “India” stimulates the patriotism which resides in the soul of every Indians. The Chairman and Vice Chairman of Arani Town Panchayat, The School Headmaster, The President of Arani ExNoRa, Teachers, Councillors of Arani Town Panchayat and Students have given their presence on the day.
At the end of the function, the Tree Plantation at the School was inaugurated by the Headmaster and the President of Arani ExNoRa. The volunteers of “Pillars of India” & “Arani ExNoRa” and the NCC volunteers from the School were eagerly involved in the tree plantation. Around 30 trees were planted on the same day at the school ground by the volunteers from Pillars of India, Arani ExNoRa and the NCC volunteers.
After the successful tree plantation at School, the volunteers of Pillars of India and Arani ExNoRa were participated in the “Blood Donation Camp” at Arani Primary School (South). The blood donation camp was conducted by the “Go India Foundation” Arani, with the support of Government General Hospital, Chennai. The Pillars of India and Arani ExNoRa supported the blood donation camp and donated blood as their contribution. Overall the day was energetic with patriotism.
