Tree Plantation at Lord Pichaandeeswarar Temple, Arani

We can see one of rarest auspicious garden at Vadivudaiyamman Temple in Thiruvottiyur. In each and every old temple, our ancestors started to plant specialized tree (Virutcham), i.e. Vilvam tree at Lord Shiva temple. 27 auspicious trees (virutcham) for 27 stars (Natchathram) have been planted and maintained in Thiruvottiyur Vadivudaiyamman temple. This is the very rarest phenomena and very few only visited this garden. We also have taken the step to plant 27 Virutchams at Lord Pichaandeeswarar Temple, Arani to fulfill the desire of Arani people. As planned earlier, we have planted today 17 trees (virutchams). The remaining 10 will be planted as soon as possible. Thanks to our volunteers for the successful plantation. In future we have decided to plant these trees at all temple in Arani as per the wish of Arani people.
